My Holistic Approach
My Holistic approach aids chronic pain and stress management, injury and repetitive movement injuries, and migraine by incorporating massage, body and energy work, meditation, and yoga. All of which are crucial to solidifying the mind-body connection and positive body image. I am a firm believer that the mind-body connection is strong and very real!
My practice is centered around just that. I have been working with the human form and movement for over 20 years. My background is Sports Management, Exercise Physiology, Injury and Sports Rehab, Massage Therapy, Kinesiology (the study of body movement) and Assessment. As an anatomy and kinesiology geek, I assess based on movement of the body. From fluid movement to no movement, your session is based on your specific wants and needs for healing.
I graduated from High Point University in 1996 with a BS in Sport Management and Forsyth Technical Community College in 2005 with Diploma in Therapeutic Massage. Have been practicing massage since 2005 where I pull knowledge of how the body moves and the muscle origins and insertions.
I taught Musculoskeletal Anatomy and Kinesiology, Special Conditions, Clinical and Case Study Research for Forsyth Technical Community College; Therapeutic Massage Program (2006-2017). From here enforced the love I have for our amazing human body and movement. Since then, workshops and continuing education classes are in development so stay tuned for more information regarding those.
A teacher at heart, I truly believe the more knowledge we have about our bodies and how they were designed to move, the better we are at determining what works.

Investing in yourself now can save you the cost of not doing so later. Love and light!
